B4RN Proposition

B4RN is a trusted partner to the remote areas we serve. We are uniquely positioned to act as a bridge, connecting people with the support they need by organising community meetings and collaborating with third-party specialist organisations. Our established reputation within these communities allows us to effectively bring vital services and resources to those who would otherwise be left behind.

With an extensive network of volunteers across the most challenging rural locations in Lancashire, Cumbria, Yorkshire, Norfolk, and the North East, B4RN is in a prime position to connect individuals with the right resources. This network enables us to work with organisations best placed to help bridge the digital divide, as well as to educate, guide, and coach people on how to maximise the benefits of their connectivity.

B4RN is already playing a significant role in bridging the digital divide by delivering reliable full-fibre gigabit symmetrical broadband to some of the hardest-to-reach areas. We also offer a Social Tariff, which allows those receiving certain benefits to access the same high-speed service at a reduced price, ensuring that affordability is not a barrier to digital inclusion.

Our dedicated connections team and help desk representatives actively participate in community meetings, helping residents get the most out of their broadband. Whether it’s navigating healthcare, education, banking, or other essential services, we are committed to ensuring that everyone in our communities can take full advantage of the opportunities provided by reliable, high-speed internet.

We aim to elevate our efforts by collaborating closely with specialist organisations that focus on specific demographics, including age, geographic location, education, and other essential services. This partnership approach will enable us to deliver more targeted and effective support to those who need it most.

Stories from out in the field from our very happy customers

One residential customer in Over Kellet used to know whether it was worth firing up her computer by looking out of her front window to see what the weather was doing with her telephone line.

We juggle two jobs from home, and it’s just been a game-changer. Just sign up! It’s the best internet service I’ve ever received, and I’ve moved a thousand times!

It has allowed us to improve our farm business through the implementation of Wi-Fi heat detection ankle bands on our herd, and thus improving our business productivity.
Heather Whalley, Farmer
OMG it is amazing! I don’t want to go back to London, which was faster than here, but not now! Just to say a BIG THANK YOU to all you guys, what a great thing you are doing. I’m shocked not everyone is signing up!
Customer in Norfolk
After lambing 1300 ewes a good film is what I want to watch and because we have B4RN that is no problem. Just enables me and my family to get on.
