The One Touch Switch process is an industry wide process to make it easier for customers to switch between phone and broadband providers at the same address. You only need to contact your new provider who will manage the provisioning of your new service and the cancellation of your old service.

We will message your old provider.
Your old provider will send an e-mail to the e-mail address you have registered with them. This is called the implications letter. This letter will include details such as early termination charges and what services will be cancelled. The information provided is to allow you to make an informed decision about whether you want to switch.
You have not agreed to switch at this point.Using the information from the implications letter, and that on our web site, you should then inform us if you want to switch. If you do not want to switch, you need do nothing.
You will need to provide us with consent to proceed with switching your connection.
We will arrange to bring your services live and cease your service with your existing provider.
You do not have to use the One Touch Switch process. If you opt to not to use the One Touch Switch process, it is up to you to cancel your existing contract with your old provider at the appropriate time.
Yes you can switch both your phone and broadband service at the same time.
If your phone and broadband services are both with the same supplier, then switching one or the other will normally cease both with your old supplier. For example, if you want to cease just your broadband service with your old supplier, you must carefully check your implications letter to see whether your voice service will also be ceased. If it does show that it will be ceased, and you do not want lose your phone number, then you must arrange with us to have your number ported to our voice service.
If your phone and broadband services are with different suppliers, we can switch both services independently.
Unfortunately the One Touch Switch process is only intended for switching at a single location. We can still provide you service at your new location but it will be up to you to cancel your service at your old property. Alternatively you can arrange with your old provider to move your existing service to your new property then arrange for us to switch you using the One Touch Switch process.
When you opt for connect plus you are choosing to have an overlap between your existing service and the B4RN service. It is up to you to cancel your existing contract with your old provider at the appropriate time.
One Touch Switch only covers residential customers but the telecommunications industry is working to include business customers. If you are a small business and have opted to take a residential service from your previous supplier you may be able to switch to us using One Touch Switch.
You can choose to receive your implications letter by post rather than e-mail. Just let us know and we will request that your old provider send you the information in the post.
E-mail is the default method for communication as it allows you to receive the information you require in a timely fashion.
