Distribution Network Status
Planned Maintenance: Tuesday the 14th of April 0:00a.m. (Midnight) to 2:00a.m. - Abbeystead, Caton Village, Caton with Littledale, Claughton, Dolphinholme, Hornby with Farleton, Nether Wyresdale, Quernmore: This maintenance is being undertaken to complete essential maintenance on B4RN core networking equipment providing service to 1266 B4RN Broadband customers, who have been notified. The outage is not expected to cover the whole period, you will experience periods where you are unable to connect to the internet or use your IP phones.
Emergency Planned Maintenance: Tuesday the 14th of April 9:00am to 4:00pm - All customers in Gressingham: These works are to repair damaged ducting serving these customers. This outage will cover the whole period and you will be unable to connect to the internet or use your IP phones.
Planned Maintenance: Thursday the 16th of April 2:30a.m. to 5:00a.m. - B4RN Voice Services: This maintenance is being undertaken by our voice provider's engineering team to perform planned upgrades and optimisation work across core infrastructure supporting the B4RN Voice platform. The outage is not expected to cover the whole period.
Network Maintenance Windows: We normally use Tuesdays and Thursdays – 01:00 to 08:00 – as a maintenance window to perform network operations such as router firmware upgrades, equipment replacement, security updates, minor cable replacements, and other small works with low impact. Occasionally we may plan maintenance at other times for operational reasons. Any major works will be identified above and customers affected will be notified in advance.
