Network Outage: Wednesday 11th September 5:20pm - Burston and Shimpling: We are aware of an issue affecting 6 customers. Engineers are investigating. Update 12th September 3:00pm: Our local team is investigating this issue and we are working with our engineering team to plan repairs. Update 12th September 7:05pm : Our engineering team has been investigating today and further investigations will be underway tomorrow. Update 13th September 3:45pm: Our local team is working to affect a temporary repair to the damaged fibre. Update 14th September 9:30am: The temporary repair has restored service to most of the affected customers, with the local team continuing work to restore the remaining services. Update 1:45pm: The temporary repair has restored all services. A permanent repair will be undertaken is due course.

Network Outage RESOLVED: Wednesday 4th September 1:56pm - Grayrigg: We are aware of an issue affecting 18 customers south of the railway between Docker and the motorway. As our engineers are fully deployed at present, we expect to commence repairs tomorrow, Thursday. Update Thursday 5th September 9:00am: Engineers are on site about to commence repairs. As further customers are at risk of losing service to to this damage, they will have to take down service to those at risk. An SMS message has been sent to those we hold mobile numbers for. Update 1.05pm: The first customers are starting to come back live. Update 4:10pm: All customer services have been restored.

Network Outage RESOLVED: Monday the 2nd September 1:52pm - Eldroth: We are aware of an issue affecting this area. Engineers are investigating. Update 3:15pm: We believe this is due to damage to our fibre. Engineers are on site assessing the damage. Update 4:00pm: Engineers have located extensive damage and will be returning tomorrow to commence repairs. Update 5:25pm: Engineers have restored service to Giggleswick and Rathmell. Eldroth customers can expect engineers on site tomorrow to commence repairs. Update Tuesday 3rd September 8:45am: Engineers are en route to commence repairs. Update 3:30pm: Our fibre has suffered extensive damage requiring installing a lengthy section of new fibre. Current estimate is that we may get the new fibre installed ready for reconnecting customers tomorrow. Update 6:30pm: Engineers are still on site but repairs will continue tomorrow. Update Wednesday 4th September 8:50am: Engineers are on site continuing repairs. They installed the new fibre yesterday evening and will commence reconnecting customers shortly. This is a lengthy process as each customer is reconnected one by one. Update 12:15pm: All customers except one now have service restored.

EE Wi-Fi Calling RESOLVED: Thursday 1st August 8:30am: We are getting reports of issues with EE Wi-Fi Calling. This appears to be an issue that should be reported to EE. Wi-Fi Calling on other networks such as O2, Vodafone and 3 is working as expected. Update 8:56am: Social Media posts indicate a general issue with EE and BT Wi-Fi Calling. Update Friday 2nd July 8:30am: We're getting reports that EE/BT appear to have fixed the Wi-Fi calling issue.

Network Outage RESOLVED: Saturday 20th of July 2:17pm - Chipping, Bleasdale, Calder Vale, Dunsop Bridge, Slaidburn and Bowland by Bowland: We are aware of an issue affecting customers in these areas. Engineers are investigating. Update 2:42pm: Network engineers have redirected network traffic to restore service to Bleasdale, Chipping, Calder Vale, Slaidburn and Dunsop Bridge. Update 2:52pm: Service has been restored to all affected customers. The issue was caused by damage to our fibre in the Goosnargh area. This has left a number of customers in the Goosnargh area without service.

Network Outage RESOLVED: Sunday 3rd of December 10:15a.m. - Cartmell Fell: Your local B4RN distribution cabinet lost mains power earlier this morning and has been running on battery with limited runtime remaining. An engineer is in the vicinity in order to deploy a generator and is now awaiting assistance from a local farmer to move a fallen tree so he can complete his journey. There may be a short outage when the cabinet loses power before the generator is in place. Update 10:53a.m.: The distribution cabinet has now lost battery power and our engineer, although not too far away, can't currently get past the fallen trees blocking routes to the cabinet in order to deploy the generator. Electricity North West engineers are now visible in the area. Update 11:47a.m.: Engineers have deployed the generator and service has resumed. Update Monday 4th of December 8.15am: the generator requires refuelling to restore power to the cabinet. The local team is aware and is on its way. Update: 9.45am: the generator has been refuelled and power has been restored to the cabinet. Update Tuesday 5th of December 8.17am: Power was restored in the area overnight. Our cabinet has been switched from generator to mains power. Thank you to all the local volunteers who assisted with refuelling.

Power Outage: Friday 11th August 2023 - Grayrigg: We are aware a power cut has affected a number of customers in the Grayrigg area. Now the power is restored to your property, if you use Wi-Fi extenders/repeaters/mesh devices to increase your Wi-Fi range, you may experience an apparent loss of service caused by the those devices powering up faster than the B4RN router. To resolve this, turn the power off to each extender/repeaters/mesh device and the B4RN router. Then turn the power back on to the B4RN router and wait 3 minutes. Now turn the power on to each extender/repeaters/mesh device starting with the one nearest the B4RN router. This should resolve the issue.

Tuesday the 21st March 2023: We are aware of a power cut affecting a number of customers in the Yealand Redmayne area. If you use Wi-Fi extenders/repeaters/mesh devices to increase your Wi-Fi range, you may experience an apparent loss of service caused by the those devices powering up faster than the B4RN router once the power is restored. To resolve this, turn the power off to each extender/repeaters/mesh device and the B4RN router. Then turn the power back on to the B4RN router and wait 3 minutes. Now turn the power on to each extender/repeaters/mesh device starting with the one nearest the B4RN router. This should resolve the issue.
