Update 29th of July 2:33pm: Engineers have confirmed damage to B4RN fibre. Our team are working to arrange the necessary Fibre and Civil Engineering resource to complete a repair. Teams will be on site tomorrow, Thursday the 30th of July. Update: Thursday the 30th of July 9:44am: Engineers are on site to commence the repair to the fibre.

Network Outage RESOLVED: Wednesday the 29th of July 5:31pm - Grayrigg, Old Hutton: We are aware of an issue affecting customers in these areas. Engineers are investigating. Damage to fibre is suspected. Update 5:38pm: Engineers have rerouted traffic remotely and restored service to Grayrigg customers. Update 5:59pm: Engineers have rerouted traffic remotely and restored service to Old Hutton customers. Our team continue to investigate to determine the location of the fibre damage.

Planned Maintenance COMPLETED: Tuesday the 28th of July 11:30pm to Wednesday the 29th of July 3:00am - Arkholme, Aughton, Borwick and Priest Hutton, Burton in Kendal, Capernwray, Gressingham, Halton, Hutton Roof, Nether Kellet, Over Kellet, Preston Patrick, Silverdale, Storth, Whittington, Yealand Conyers, Yealand Redmayne: This maintenance is to replace critical network equipment in one of our cabinets, and will affect all customers in the above areas. The outage is not expected to cover the whole period. Please leave your router powered on so we can test your connection on completion of the works.

Network Outage: RESOLVED: Monday the 27th of July 1:31pm - Nether Wyresdale: We are aware of an issue affecting customers in Nether Wyresdale. Engineers are investigating. Update 2:00pm: Fibre damage has been confirmed and the location is known. Engineers are formulating a plan to make the repair. Update 2:35pm: A team of core engineers will head to the location tomorrow morning, Tuesday the 28th of July, to repair the duct and install a new cable. Updates will follow as the work progresses. Update Tuesday the 28th of July 9:10am: Engineers are on site to commence the repair to the fibre. Update 1:42pm: Engineers are about to commence splicing customer connections. Individual services will be restored as they work their way through. Update 2:54pm: Engineers have completed splicing and restored all affected services. Update Tuesday the 28th of July 11:00am: Engineers have removed the old cable, repaired the duct and are installing the new cable. Update 2:54pm: Engineers have completed splicing and restored all affected services. Emergency Maintenance: COMPLETED: Tuesday the 28th of July 12:00pm to 12:30pm. - 115 Customers in Caton with Littledale, Hornby with Farleton, Roeburndale, Wennington, and Wray: Engineers are replacing hardware at the distribution cabinet that caused an unplanned service outage in the early hours of this morning, Tuesday the 28th of July. This outage will cover the whole period and you will be unable to connect to the internet or use your IP phones. Please leave your router powered on so we can test your connection on completion of the works.

Network Outage: Tuesday the 28h of July 3:31a.m. - Wray: We are aware of an issue affecting some customers in the Wray area. An engineer is en-route to the cabinet to investigate. Update 4:45a.m. Engineer on site in Wray. Update 5:05a.m. Normal service resumed.

Network Outage RESOLVED: Saturday the 25th of July 12:09am - Tivetshall, Scole, Burston: We are aware of an issue affecting customers in Norfolk. Engineers are investigating. Update 12:15am: Engineers have been able to reroute traffic and restore customer connections.

Network Outage RESOLVED: Thursday the 23rd of July 12:45pm - Crook: We are aware of an issue affecting 22 customers in this area. Engineers are investigating. Update 1:20pm: Fibre damage has been confirmed. An engineer is heading to the site of the damage to get eyes on. Update 2:35pm: Engineers have been to the site of the damage and have planned a repair which will take place tomorrow, Friday the 24th of July. This emergency maintenance will affect 98 customers, and a further 30 customers' service will be at risk. All 128 customers have been notified. Update Friday the 24th of July 9:08am: Engineers are en route to commence repairs. Update 11:11am: Engineers are preparing to install a repair chamber. Once it is installed, they will cut the damaged section of cable out and rejoin the cable in the repair chamber. Update 2:52pm: Engineers are splicing customer connections. Services will be restored as they work their way through. Update 3:35pm: Engineers have experienced issues during splicing. Due to this, we are extending the outage window to 8:00pm. Update 6:45pm: Engineers have completed splicing and restored all affected services. Update Friday the 24th of July 9:19am: Engineers are on site to commence repairs. Update 10:46am: The new cable has been installed and engineers are preparing to commence splicing. Update 3:05pm: Engineers have completed splicing and restored all affected services. Planned Maintenance COMPLETE: Wednesday the 22nd of July 7:00am to 10:00am - Great Salkeld, Lazonby: This maintenance is to repair a damaged section of our fibre network, and will affect all customers in the Great Salkeld and Lazonby areas, who have been notified. The outage is anticipated to cover the whole period. Please leave your router powered on so we can test your connection on completion of the works. Update 7:36am: Engineers are on site commencing maintenance works. Update 9:32am: Engineers have encountered unforeseen complications during reinstatement of the fibre. Due to this, we are extending the outage window to noon. Update 10:47am: Engineers have reinstated the fibre and are preparing to commence splicing momentarily. Update 11:45am: Engineers have spliced the connection for the service cabinets, restoring service to most connections. Splicing work is continuing to restore all remaining connections. Engineers are investigating. Fibre damage is suspected. Update 9:52am: Engineers have rerouted traffic restoring services to all affected areas. Planned Maintenance COMPLETE: Tuesday the 14th of July 9:00am to 12:00pm - Arkholme: This maintenance is being undertaken to increase the capacity of critical core fibre to improve network resilience, and will affect 38 customers in Arkholme, who have been notified. Update Tuesday the 14th of July 9:20am: Engineers are on site and preparing to cut the fibre cable. Update 9:50am: Engineers have cut the fibre cable. Update 11:45am: Engineers have experienced issues with the new fibre cable preventing splicing from commencing. Due to this, we are extending the outage window to 4:00pm. Update 12:05pm: Engineers have started splicing. Update 3:55pm: Engineers have completed splicing and restored all affected services. Network Outage RESOLVED: Thursday the 2nd of July 16:45p.m. - Old Hutton: We are aware of an issue affecting 6 customers in this area. Engineers are investigating. Fibre damage has been confirmed. Update Friday the 3rd of July 9:00am: Fibre damage has been confirmed. Engineers are on route to assess and commence the repair. Update 9:23am: Engineers have arrived on site and are beginning repairs. Update 12:15pm: Engineers have located further unreported damage to fibre that is preventing reinstallation of cable. The team are working to repair this additional damage. We now anticipate restoring services by 5pm. B4RN Update 4:45pm: Engineers have successfully replaced cable and repaired two out of three locations of damage. Fibre splicing is commencing at the final location, and services are beginning to be restored one by one. Update 7:41pm: Engineers have restored all affected services. Update 3:45pm: Fibre damage has been confirmed. Four services are currently down, and 18 services are at risk. Engineers are arranging resources to plan a repair. Update 5:37pm: Engineers have booked in an emergency repair for tomorrow, Friday the 19th of June from 8:00am to 4:00pm, affecting 22 customers in the Preston Patrick area, who have been notified. Update 8:55am Friday the 19th June: Engineers are on site, and are about to begin works. Update 9:50am: Engineers have started splicing in the new cable. Services will begin to restore as splicing continues. Update 11:15am: Engineers have restored all affected services. Update 6:04pm - Engineers have completed preliminary works to facilitate a repair. Further resource is required to continue the repair works starting Monday the 15th of June. Update Monday 15th of June 10:00am: Engineers have removed the damaged fibre, and are working to reinstall new cable. Update 11:35am: The new cable has been successfully installed, and works to restore affected customers one by one are underway. Update 3:30pm: Engineers have restored all affected services. Update 2:00pm: Engineers have restored all services affected in the network outage. Emergency Maintenance COMPLETED: Thursday the 11th of June 6:00am to 4:00pm - Customers in Brough, Garsdale, Hardraw, Kaber, Mallerstang, Nateby, Ravenstonedale, Stainmore: Engineers are working to replace B4RN fibre damaged by groundworks. Customers in all of the areas listed will be affected from 6:00am to 7:00am whilst teams work to implement temporary links to bring distribution cabinets back live. A further 23 customers in the Garsdale area, who have been notified, will remain affected for the duration of the works. This outage will cover the whole period and you will be unable to connect to the internet or use your IP phones. Please leave your router powered on so we can test your connection on completion of the works. Update 11th June 6am: Engineers on site preparing for works. Update 6:27am: Engineers have commenced works. Update 7:20am: Works are taking longer than expected to restore services to the cabinets. Update 7:30am: Service restored to customers at Brough, Garsdale, Hardraw, Kaber, Mallerstang, Nateby, Ravenstonedale, Stainmore. 23 notified customers in the Garsdale area will have service restored later today.
