Network Outage: RESOLVED: Tuesday the 18th of August 1:25pm - Low Bentham: We are aware of an issue affecting customers in this area. Engineers are investigating. Update 2:25pm: Damage to B4RN fibre has been confirmed. Engineers have been on site and located the area. Update 4:30pm: Engineers have organized a team and resources to commence the repair tomorrow, Wednesday the 19th of August. Progress updates will be provided on the day when we have new information. Update Wednesday 19th August - 9:25am: An engineering team are on site and are preparing to make the repair. Update 11:19am - Engineers have removed the old, damaged fibre cable and are preparing to blow the new fibre through the repaired ducting. Update 12:30pm: Engineers have installed the new fibre and will commence re-connecting each customer individually. Update 3:08pm: Engineers have restored all affected services. Update 11:37am: Engineers have successfully installed the new cable, and works are underway to begin splicing fibres. Services will begin to be restored one by one. Network Outage RESOLVED: Wednesday the 12th of August 2:55pm - Capenhurst: We are aware of an issue affecting 8 customers in the area. Fibre damage is suspected. Update 6:05pm: Engineers will be on-site tomorrow morning, Thursday the 13th of August, to located the suspected damage to B4RN fibre, and begin work to restore connections. Update Thursday the 13th of August 8:55am: Engineers are en route to site. Update 10:55am: Engineers are on site and have located partial damage to B4RN fibre. Updates as to the progress of a repair will follow once more information is received from the team on site. Update 11:30am: Engineers are beginning to make repairs. A further 3 customers will be affected by the repair between 12:00pm and 5:00pm, who have been notified. Update 4:06pm: Engineers have restored all affected services. Network Outage RESOLVED: Tuesday the 11th of August 11:05am - Calder Vale: We are aware of an issue affecting 14 customers in this area. Fibre damage is suspected. Update 1:20pm: Engineers have been on site and located the damaged fibre. Update 3:50pm: An Emergency Maintenance window to complete a repair has been arranged and will take place tomorrow, Wednesday the 12th of August, from 9:00am to 5:00pm. 36 additional customers will be affected, who have been notified. Update Wednesday the 12th of August 9:25am: Engineers are on site to commence emergency maintenance works. Update 10:10am: Engineers will cut the damaged fibre cable shortly, ready to be removed. Update 4:00pm: Engineers have experienced difficulties in removing the old cable and installing the new one. It is anticipated that the repair will go on beyond 5pm. Update 5:12pm: New cable has been installed and engineers are prepping to splice. Connections will be restored one at a time as engineers work through splicing fibres. Update 9:00pm: Due to loss of daylight, engineers have had to withdraw from site. 10 of the total 50 customers affected have had service restored. A team will return tomorrow morning, Thursday the 13th of August, to continue works to restore the remaining services. Update Thursday the 13th of August 8:55am: Teams are en route to site. Update 9:45am: Engineers are on site, and are continuing works to restore services. Update 3:50pm: Engineers have restored all affected services. Update Thursday the 13th of August 9:00am: Engineers have arrived on site, and are beginning to install new fibre cable. Update 9:50am: Engineers have successfully installed the new cable, and works are underway to begin splicing fibres. Services will begin to be restored one by one. Update 10:55am: Individual services are starting to be restored. Update 1:45pm: Engineers have restored all affected services. The 40 customers affected by the ongoing network outage in the area remain affected. Update Monday the 10th of August 2:30pm: Engineers have been on site this morning and have identified partial damage to core fibre. An Emergency Maintenance window to complete a repair has been arranged and will take place tomorrow, Tuesday the 11th of August 9:00am to 5:00pm. Update Tuesday the 11th August 7:13pm: Engineers have restored all affected services. The outage is expected to cover the whole period and will affect 47 customers in Heversham, who have been notified. Please leave your router running so we can ensure your connection is restored following completion of these works. Update 8:55am: Engineers are en route to the site of the emergency maintenance. Update 9:25am: Engineers are on site to commence emergency maintenance works. Update 10:05am: Engineers will cut the damaged fibre cable shortly, ready to be removed. 1:05pm: Engineers have installed the new fibre cable and have begun splicing. Update 09:07am: Engineers have arrived on site and are commencing repair work. Update 11:10am: The broken section of cable has been replaced and engineers are preparing for splicing. Update 11:36am: Engineers have begun splicing work on the new cable. Update 2:17pm: We have monitored customer services being restored as engineers continue splicing. All customers will be restored as splicing work continues. Update 5:00pm: Engineers have restored all affected services. Update 9:30am: Engineers are on site to commence the work on the fibre. Update 2:00pm: Engineers are still working to complete the maintenance. This should now be completed by 3.30pm. Planned Maintenance: Thursday the 6th of August 10:00am to 2:00pm - 1 customer in Melmerby: This maintenance is being undertaken to increase the capacity of the fibre network, and will affect 1 customer in Melmerby. Please leave your router powered on so we can test your connection on completion of the works. Update 9:35am: Engineers are en route to the site of this maintenance. Update 10:00am: Engineers are on site. Update 10:25am: Engineers have cut the fibre cable in ready for it to be removed. Update 11:50am: Engineers have installed the new fibre cable and have begun splicing. The one affected service has been restored.

Network Outage COMPLETE: Tuesday the 4th of August 7:10pm - Mansergh: We are aware of an issue affecting 6 customers in this area. Update Wednesday the 5th of August 10:00am: Engineers are on site to investigate and locate the suspected damage to fibre. Update 1:20pm: Engineers have located the damage and are completing a temporary repair to bring customers live. Update 5:15pm: Engineers have completed a temporary repair bringing customers live, and a full repair has been booked in for Friday 7th August, with an estimated outage window of 9:00am to 4:00pm. These emergency works will affect 11 customers, who have been notified. This outage will cover the whole period and you will be unable to connect to the internet or use your IP phones. Update Monday the 3rd of August 9:20am: Engineers are heading to site to investigate damage and work on restoring customer connections. Update 11:30am: Engineers have restored all affected services. The root cause and location of the damage to fibre has been identified, and a future planned maintenance window will be advised for replacement of the damaged cable.

Update 29th of July 2:33pm: Engineers have confirmed damage to B4RN fibre. Our team are working to arrange the necessary Fibre and Civil Engineering resource to complete a repair. Teams will be on site tomorrow, Thursday the 30th of July. Update Thursday the 30th of July 9:44am: Engineers are on site to commence the repair to the fibre. Update 5:59pm: Engineers have rerouted traffic remotely and restored service to Old Hutton customers. Our team continue to investigate to determine the location of the fibre damage.

Planned Maintenance COMPLETED: Tuesday the 28th of July 11:30pm to Wednesday the 29th of July 3:00am - Arkholme, Aughton, Borwick and Priest Hutton, Burton in Kendal, Capernwray, Gressingham, Halton, Hutton Roof, Nether Kellet, Over Kellet, Preston Patrick, Silverdale, Storth, Whittington, Yealand Conyers, Yealand Redmayne: This maintenance is to replace critical network equipment in one of our cabinets, and will affect all customers in the above areas. The outage is not expected to cover the whole period. Please leave your router powered on so we can test your connection on completion of the works.

Update 2:00pm: Fibre damage has been confirmed and the location is known. Engineers are formulating a plan to make the repair. Update 2:35pm: A team of core engineers will head to the location tomorrow morning, Tuesday the 28th of July, to repair the duct and install a new cable. Updates will follow as the work progresses. Update Tuesday the 28th of July 9:10am: Engineers are on site to commence the repair to the fibre. Update 1:42pm: Engineers are about to commence splicing customer connections. Individual services will be restored as they work their way through. Update 2:54pm: Engineers have completed splicing and restored all affected services. Emergency Maintenance: COMPLETED: Tuesday the 28th of July 12:00pm to 12:30pm. - 115 Customers in Caton with Littledale, Hornby with Farleton, Roeburndale, Wennington, and Wray: Engineers are replacing hardware at the distribution cabinet that caused an unplanned service outage in the early hours of this morning, Tuesday the 28th of July. This outage will cover the whole period and you will be unable to connect to the internet or use your IP phones. Please leave your router powered on so we can test your connection on completion of the works.

Network Outage RESOLVED: Saturday the 25th of July 12:09am - Tivetshall, Scole, Burston: We are aware of an issue affecting customers in Norfolk. Engineers are investigating. Update 12:15am: Engineers have been able to reroute traffic and restore customer connections.

Network Outage RESOLVED: Thursday the 23rd of July 12:45pm - Crook: We are aware of an issue affecting 22 customers in this area. Engineers are investigating. Update 1:20pm: Fibre damage has been confirmed. An engineer is heading to the site of the damage to get eyes on. Update 2:35pm: Engineers have been to the site of the damage and have planned a repair which will take place tomorrow, Friday the 24th of July. This emergency maintenance will affect 98 customers, and a further 30 customers' service will be at risk. All 128 customers have been notified. Update Friday the 24th of July 9:08am: Engineers are en route to commence repairs. Update 11:11am: Engineers are preparing to install a repair chamber. Once it is installed, they will cut the damaged section of cable out and rejoin the cable in the repair chamber. Update 2:52pm: Engineers are splicing customer connections. Services will be restored as they work their way through. Update 3:35pm: Engineers have experienced issues during splicing. Due to this, we are extending the outage window to 8:00pm. Update 6:45pm: Engineers have completed splicing and restored all affected services. Update 3:05pm: Engineers have completed splicing and restored all affected services. Update 7:36am: Engineers are on site commencing maintenance works. Update 9:32am: Engineers have encountered unforeseen complications during reinstatement of the fibre. Due to this, we are extending the outage window to noon. Update 10:47am: Engineers have reinstated the fibre and are preparing to commence splicing momentarily. Update 11:45am: Engineers have spliced the connection for the service cabinets, restoring service to most connections. Splicing work is continuing to restore all remaining connections. Update 11:45am: Engineers have experienced issues with the new fibre cable preventing splicing from commencing. Due to this, we are extending the outage window to 4:00pm. Update 12:05pm: Engineers have started splicing. Update 3:55pm: Engineers have completed splicing and restored all affected services. Update Friday the 3rd of July 9:00am: Fibre damage has been confirmed. Engineers are on route to assess and commence the repair. Update 9:23am: Engineers have arrived on site and are beginning repairs. Update 12:15pm: Engineers have located further unreported damage to fibre that is preventing reinstallation of cable. The team are working to repair this additional damage. We now anticipate restoring services by 5pm. B4RN Update 4:45pm: Engineers have successfully replaced cable and repaired two out of three locations of damage. Fibre splicing is commencing at the final location, and services are beginning to be restored one by one. Update 7:41pm: Engineers have restored all affected services.
