Resolved Issues and Completed Maintenance

Network Outage: Sunday the 29th of March 9:25am - Firbank: We are aware of an issue affecting 11 customers in this area. Engineers are investigating. Fibre damage is suspected. Update 2:26pm: Engineers have located the fibre damage. A team will be on site tomorrow to conduct repairs. 22 customers will be affected who have been notified. Update: Monday the 30th of March 10:00am: Engineers are on site and commencing works. Update: 2:30pm: The new cable is in and engineers have commenced splicing. Services will be restored incrementally. Update: 4:00pm: Engineers are continuing with the repair, which will now extend beyond 4pm for the services still not live. Update: 6:58pm: Most services have been restored, a team will return tomorrow with additional resources to complete repairs on those still affected.

Planned Maintenance COMPLETED: Thursday the 26th of March 9:00am to 3:00pm - 1 customer in Abbeystead: This maintenance is being completed to restore a critical interconnect on the network. This outage will cover the whole period and you will be unable to connect to the internet or use your IP phones. Update 3:15pm: These works are now complete. Planned Maintenance COMPLETED: Thursday the 26th of March 9:00am to 4:00pm - 9 customers in Tivetshall: These works are to reroute a section of our core network to prevent possible future damage. This outage will cover the whole period and you will be unable to connect to the internet or use your IP phones. Update 1:45pm: These works are now complete. Network Outage: Tuesday the 24th of March 12:30p.m. - Kirkby Lonsdale: We are aware of an issue affecting customers in this area. Engineers are investigating. Update 12:40p.m. Normal service has been restored at the cabinet. Engineering teams are checking to ensure all services have been restored. Update 12:50p.m. Engineers have confirmed all services were restored at 12:40p.m.

Emergency Maintenance COMPLETED: Monday the 23rd of March 9:00am to 3:00pm - 5 customers in Bolton by Bowland: These works are being completed to repair damaged core fibre serving these customers. This outage will cover the whole period and you will be unable to connect to the internet or use your IP phones. Update: 9:45am: Engineers are on site and commencing works. Update 11:35am: Engineers are about to cut the damaged fibre cable and begin removing it. B4RN Update 1:30pm: The new cable is in and engineers have commenced splicing. Services will be restored incrementally. B4RN Update 1:45pm: These works are now complete. Network Outage: Tuesday the 17th of March 3:00pm - Heversham: We are aware of an issue affecting 25 customers in this area. Engineers are investigating. Fibre damage is suspected. Update: 4:00pm: Fibre damage has been confirmed. The Engineer Team is planning the repair works. Update 4:39pm: Repairs are planned for Wednesday morning. Update Wednesday the 18th of March 9:14am: Engineers are en route to site to commence repairs. Update 11:24am: Engineers have located the break and began repairs on the damaged cable. Update 4:03pm: Engineers have repaired the core cable to restore service, however some services require additional repair work. A team will return tomorrow to complete repairs. Update Thursday the 19th of March 12:05pm: Engineers have been delayed returning to site this morning. They are anticipating returning this afternoon to continue repairs. Update 3:00pm: Engineers are on site. Update 4:05pm: Engineers have begun to restore services that remain affected by yesterday's works. Update: 7:31pm: Services are now restored. Planned Maintenance: Thursday the 19th of March 9:00am to 5:00pm - 14 customers in Dolphinholme: These works are to allow for future connections to be built onto our network. This outage will cover the whole period and you will be unable to connect to the internet or use your IP phones. Update 09:30am: Engineers have arrived on site and are commencing these works. Update 2:30pm: Engineers have completed preparatory works, and have started to restore affected services one by one. Update 3:45pm: Engineers are making good progress in restoring connections, but have experienced complications and will not have restored all services by 4pm as previously advised. It is anticipated that all services will be restored by 5pm. Update 5:00pm: Engineers continue to experience unexpected difficulties in completing these works. Works are ongoing to restore the services that remain affected. Update: 7:33pm: Services are now restored. Network Outage: RESOLVED: Thursday the 12th of March 9:05a.m. - Mungrisdale: We are aware of an issue affecting customers in this area. Engineers are investigating. Update: 10.23am: Damage to the B4RN fibre has been confirmed and the area has been located. Update: 11.05am: The Head Core Fibre Engineer will be on site this afternoon to assess the damage. A full Core Fibre Team will visit tomorrow morning to make the repair. Update Friday the 13th of March 9:14am: Engineers are en route to site to commence repair works. Update: 10.10am: Engineers are on site to commence the repair. Update: 1:20pm: The engineers have removed the old cable, installed the new one and have now begun connecting each individual customer one-by-one. Update: 2:20pm: Services are now restored. Planned Maintenance: Wednesday the 11th of March 9:00am to 4:00pm - 36 customers in Barrasford: These works are to improve resilience on our core network. This outage will cover the whole period and you will be unable to connect to the internet or use your IP phones. Update 2:55pm: Due to unexpected difficulties, the team will return to complete works tomorrow. This new emergency outage will be for Thursday 12th of March from 8am to 4pm. Any customers affected by today's outage have been reconnected to ensure no one is left without service overnight. Update Thursday the 12th of March 10:56am: Engineers are on site continuing works. Update 1:27pm: Additional resource is being directed to site to address further complications in completing these works. The outage window is now expected to continue until 4pm. Update 3:58pm: Engineers are still on site splicing connections but due to weather conditions, are not expecting to restore all services for 4pm. The outage window is expected to continue until 6pm.

Emergency Maintenance COMPLETED: Friday the 5th of March 9:00am to 4:00pm - Dolphinholme/Nether Wyresdale: Engineers are making emergency repairs to restore resilience to B4RN infrastructure. 5 customers will be affected, who have been notified. There will be periods during the window where you will be unable to connect to the internet or use your IP phones. Update 4:00pm: These works have been completed. Emergency Maintenance COMPLETED : Wednesday the 4th of March 9:00am to 4:00pm - Gressingham: Engineers are replacing B4RN infrastructure damaged by groundworks on the afternoon of Tuesday the 3rd of March. 54 customers will be affected, who have been notified. This outage will cover the whole period and you will be unable to connect to the internet or use your IP phones. Update 4:27pm: Engineers have completed emergency repair works. Planned Maintenance CANCELLED: Wednesday the 4th of March 9:00am to 4:00pm - 14 customers in Dolphinholme: These works are to allow for future connections to be built onto our network. This outage will cover the whole period and you will be unable to connect to the internet or use your IP phones. Update 4:31pm: Due to emergency maintenance required to address damage to infrastructure elsewhere on our network, planned maintenance has been cancelled. We will be in touch to inform affected customers of a rescheduled date for these works when a date has been booked in.

Planned Maintenance COMPLETED: Tuesday the 3rd of March 9:00am to 4:00pm - 20 customers in Wray: These works are to repair fibre damage within our ground chamber to restore network resilience. This outage will cover the whole period and you will be unable to connect to the internet or use your IP phones. Update 9:00am: Engineers are on site and have started works. This outage is not expected to cover the whole period, you will experience periods where you are unable to connect to the internet or use your IP phones. Network Outage: RESOLVED: Sunday the 22nd of February 10:48am - Stainmore and Brough: We are aware of an issue affecting customers in this area. Engineers are investigating. Update 11:14am: Customers on our Stainmore distribution cabinets have been restored remotely by rerouting traffic. Brough customers remain affected. Engineers have been deployed to investigate further. Update: 12:08pm: An engineer at the Brough distribution cabinet has restored the remaining services. Update 1:15pm: We are aware of a repeated outage affecting customers in the Brough area. Engineers are being deployed to investigate and restore services. Network Outage RESOLVED: Tuesday the 17th of February 2:30pm - 3 customers in Yealand Redmayne: We have received a report of a fibre strike caused by digging works. Update 3:30pm: Engineers will be heading to site on the morning of the 18th to get eyes on the damage. They plan to implement a repair if they are able. Update Wednesday the 18th of February 9:00am: A team are on route to the location of the damage. Update 10:30am: Engineers are on site and repairs are underway. Update 4:00pm: Engineers have installed another chamber to enable a full repair. Three additional customers' services will be temporarily affected while this chamber is spliced in. Update 4:45pm: Engineers have completed the core fibre repair. One customer remains down due to additional damage identified to the property's fibre. Emergency Maintenance COMPLETED: Tuesday the 17th of February 9:00am to 4:00pm - Borwick and Priest Hutton: Engineers will be replacing a section of cable damaged by excavations. These works will affect one customer, who has been notified. This outage will cover the whole period and you will be unable to connect to the internet or use your IP phones. Update 2:00pm: These works have been completed.

Emergency Maintenance: COMPLETED: Wednesday the 11th of February 6:00am to 9:00am - Bolton by Bowland, Dunsop Bridge, Grindleton and Sawley, Slaidburn: We will be performing a permanent repair on our cable, following Saturday's outage. This outage will cover the whole period and you will be unable to connect to the internet or use your IP phones. Update 6:30am: These works have commenced. Network Outage RESOLVED: Tuesday the 10th of February 4:30a.m. - Stainton: We are aware of an issue affecting customers in this area. Engineers are investigating. Update 5:15a.m. Normal service resumed.

Network Outage RESOLVED: Saturday the 7th of February 4:00pm - Bolton By Bowland, Dunsop Bridge, Grindleton & Sawley, Knowle Green, and Slaidburn: We are aware of an issue affecting customers in these areas. Engineers are investigating. Update 5:54pm - Customers on our Dunsop Bridge and Knowle Green distribution cabinets have been restored remotely by rerouting traffic. Bolton By Bowland, Grindleton and Sawley and Slaidburn customers remain affected. Engineers have arrived on site to investigate further. Update 7:30pm: Investigations are still underway. Damage to fibre is suspected. If you are aware of any damage to B4RN infrastructure in the Dunsop Bridge/Whitewell area please contact 01524 555887 option 1. Update 8:45pm: Engineers have effected a temporary fix, restoring service to all affected customers. A team will return during daylight hours to locate and determine the nature of the damage to fibre so that a full repair can be scheduled accordingly.

Network Outage RESOLVED: Friday 6th January 9:52pm - Hutton Roof: We are investigating an issue affecting customers in this area. Update 10:20pm: An engineer is on route to undertake investigations on site. Update 23:57pm: Engineers have implemented a temporary solution, with a full repair to take place early this week.
