B4RN volunteers, customers and the Computer Club have all helped with government research on the importance of high-speed internet.
BDUK analyst Marion Lean and dialectographer Mitch Miller visited the volunteer-led Computer Club as well as a farm in Roeburndale and the village of Barbon.
The need for the internet is already nearly universally understood, but this work led to a report (you can read it in full by clicking here) about the benefits of gigabit-capable broadband.
Meanwhile, a dialectogram – a hand-drawn doodle-like illustration encapsulating the research – was also produced. You can see that by clicking here – it is best viewed by zooming in a scrolling / panning about the page.
