Introducing Connect+

Connect+ is a flexible, low-cost way to get early access to B4RN’s full-fibre broadband—even if you're still under contract with another provider.

Instead of waiting for your current deal to end, Connect+ lets you:

Get connected as soon as your property is ready, so you can experience hyperfast speeds without delay.

Just £5/month during your overlap

While you’re still paying your existing provider, Connect+ gives you access to B4RN for just £5/month (plus a one-off £60 connection fee).

Run both services side-by-side

Connect+ runs alongside your current broadband, so you don’t need to cancel early or face any penalties.

Seamless switch later

Once your existing contract ends (within 24 months), you simply move over to your full B4RN tariff—no disruption, no hassle.

Available for most B4RN users

Whether you're on a residential, business-from-home, small-business, holiday-let, or social tariff, Connect+ could be for you.

To be eligible:

  • You must have less than 24 months left on your current broadband contract.

  • You need to apply before your B4RN connection goes live.

  • You’ll be asked to provide evidence of your current contract end date.

Connect+ is all about flexibility. It helps you join the B4RN network sooner, without wasting what you’ve already paid for.

Monthly Fee: £5
  • You pay just £5/month to B4RN while remaining on your current provider’s contract (as long as it has 24 months or less remaining)

  • You continue paying your usual monthly charges to your existing broadband supplier until that contract ends — so you're effectively running both services in parallel.

One-Off Connection Fee: £60

  • A standard £60 connection fee applies upfront when you join Connect+, the same as for a full B4RN connection .

  • This fee must be paid even while you're on the introductory £5/month Connect+ rate.

Future Transition to Full B4RN Tariff

  • Once your existing contract ends, you’ll switch to a full B4RN tariff. For example:

    • Residential: £33/month

    • Social tariff: £15/month (if eligible)

    • 10 Gbps and other specialised plans have their own rates

Connect+ Example

The following example is based on a household on our primary £33/month tariff:

You have 7 months left on your contract with your current broadband provider. You pay them a monthly fee for broadband. With Connect+, we’ll connect you to our 1Gbps full-fibre network now (£60 one-off connection fee applies) – you’ll continue to pay your current provider while paying B4RN just £5/month for the monthly service fee. At the end of those 7 months you’ll move on to your applicable B4RN tariff.

Before You Apply

  • Already requested B4RN?
    You must have submitted a service request via Get B4RN. If not, please do that first and come back when your connection is nearly ready.

  • Near your connection date?
    Your garden dig should be complete, and your house kit installed. If not, check in with your local volunteer team or call us.

  • Apply before going live
    You must apply for Connect+ before your B4RN service is switched on.

  • Still with another provider?
    You must still be in contract with another broadband supplier. Connect+ is an extra service running alongside your existing one
