Once your existing contract ends (within 24 months), you simply move over to your full B4RN tariff—no disruption, no hassle.

To be eligible:
You must have less than 24 months left on your current broadband contract.
You need to apply before your B4RN connection goes live.
You’ll be asked to provide evidence of your current contract end date.
Connect+ is all about flexibility. It helps you join the B4RN network sooner, without wasting what you’ve already paid for.
Monthly Fee: £5
You pay just £5/month to B4RN while remaining on your current provider’s contract (as long as it has 24 months or less remaining)
You continue paying your usual monthly charges to your existing broadband supplier until that contract ends — so you're effectively running both services in parallel.
One-Off Connection Fee: £60
A standard £60 connection fee applies upfront when you join Connect+, the same as for a full B4RN connection .
This fee must be paid even while you're on the introductory £5/month Connect+ rate.
Future Transition to Full B4RN Tariff
Once your existing contract ends, you’ll switch to a full B4RN tariff. For example:
Residential: £33/month
Social tariff: £15/month (if eligible)
10 Gbps and other specialised plans have their own rates
Connect+ Example
The following example is based on a household on our primary £33/month tariff:
You have 7 months left on your contract with your current broadband provider. You pay them a monthly fee for broadband. With Connect+, we’ll connect you to our 1Gbps full-fibre network now (£60 one-off connection fee applies) – you’ll continue to pay your current provider while paying B4RN just £5/month for the monthly service fee. At the end of those 7 months you’ll move on to your applicable B4RN tariff.

Yes. Connect+ is intended to help people bring forward getting their B4RN (Broadband for the Rural North Ltd) connection if they have chosen to delay service until their contract with their existing broadband provider ends.
No. Existing customers should have applied for Connect+ at the time they connected. The offer of Connect+ cannot be backdated.
Yes. The B4RN (Broadband for the Rural North Ltd) full-fibre network is completely separate from other providers.
No. The B4RN (Broadband for the Rural North Ltd) full-fibre network is completely independent from other providers, meaning it can run alongside your existing broadband.
Yes. You can keep your landline as it is, if you wish.
We offer a VoIP service, B4RN Voice, which allows you to make and receive phone calls over the internet. You can keep your existing phone number if you decide to move to B4RN Voice but ceasing your voice service with your existing provider is likely to cease your contract with them and may incur early exit fees. In most cases you will need to keep your voice service with your existing supplier until your contract ends with them and then move to B4RN Voice.
Yes. If you invest £1,500 in a single transaction you can still get the cost of your connection fee (£60) waived.
Applying for Connect+ does not affect that offer.
No. The offer of service at the discounted monthly rate will only apply from after you apply for Connect+.
