Network Outage: Friday the 12th of September 11:40a.m. - Tivetshall: We are aware of an issue affecting customers in this area. Engineers are investigating. Update 1:25pm: Damage to fibre has been identified. Engineers are planning for repair works. Update 3:30pm: Engineers are working to restore connectivity to our Tivetshall Distribution Cabinet, which we anticipate restoring service for the majority of customers affected by today's outage. A further team are being resourced to assist with the repair to restore service for those customers affected directly by the damaged to fibre, and will be on site tomorrow, Saturday the 12th of September.
Network Outage: Wednesday the 10th of September 12:08p.m. - Renwick: We are aware of an issue affecting customers in this area. Engineers are investigating. Update 3:05pm: Engineers plan to start repairs Friday the 12th of September. Update Friday the 12th of September 10:00am: Engineers are on site and are beginning repairs. Update 12:28pm: Engineers have successfully replaced the damaged cable, and are working to bring connections back live.
Distribution Network Status
Network Maintenance Windows: We normally use Tuesdays and Thursdays – 01:00 to 08:00 – as a maintenance window to perform network operations such as router firmware upgrades, equipment replacement, security updates, minor cable replacements, and other small works with low impact. Occasionally we may plan maintenance at other times for operational reasons. Any major works will be identified above and customers affected will be notified in advance.
