Network Outage RESOLVED: Saturday the 13th of June 2:15pm - Nether Wyresdale: We are aware of an issue affecting 11 customers in this area. Damage to B4RN fibre is suspected. If you are aware of the location of damage, please call 01524 555887 option 1. Update 4:56pm: Engineers are on site investigating. Damage to our fibre has been confirmed. Update 6:04pm - Engineers have completed preliminary works to facilitate a repair. Further resource is required to continue the repair works starting Monday the 15th of June. Update Monday 15th of June 10:00am: Engineers have removed the damaged fibre, and are working to reinstall new cable. Update 11:35am: The new cable has been successfully installed, and works to restore affected customers one by one are underway. Update 3:30pm: Engineers have restored all affected services. Planned Maintenance: Tuesday the 16th of June 9:00am to 12:00pm - New Hutton: This maintenance is being undertaken to perform routine maintenance to B4RN network infrastructure that serves customers in these areas, who have been notified. The outage is anticipated to cover the whole period. Please leave your router powered on so we can test your connection on completion of the works.

Network Maintenance Windows: We normally use Tuesdays and Thursdays – 01:00 to 08:00 – as a maintenance window to perform network operations such as router firmware upgrades, equipment replacement, security updates, minor cable replacements, and other small works with low impact. Occasionally we may plan maintenance at other times for operational reasons. Any major works will be identified above and customers affected will be notified in advance.
