Senior HR Developer

Salary Band: £30,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)
Part Time (60% preferred; 21/35 hours per week), Permanent.

You will need to work closely with the HR team on all matters relating to organisation and people development and to be the first point of contact for personnel and development queries.  To work with the team in maintaining all personnel files, records and systems and to be able to cover for other HR roles as needed, and contribute to the development of procedures and policies to reflect a company-oriented culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance, whilst being recognised as a good employer.

You will take the lead on case-work and associated functions, and the development of associated documentation. (employee services, counselling, capability, disciplinary, grievance, consultation etc.) and provide support for HR services such as learning and development, employee engagement, and talent management.

You will be expected to support HR administration duties as required (payroll, overtime, pensions, absences, training matrix, annual appraisals, and other records) and other duties appropriate to the grade when necessary.

We are looking for a general all-rounder with particular expertise in the development of people and organisations, and proven experience within HR Development or closely related field.  You will need the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with a high level of judgement and discretion; to be able to think proactively, multitask, maintain accuracy, prioritize daily workload; to have excellent verbal and written communications skills, and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.  On top of all of this, you will need at least CIPD Level 5 qualification and continued membership, or equivalent.
