Many people have been following the events in Kansas with the Google Fiber project, well the registration period has ended and it seems that Kansas is looking for a high fibre diet too as registrations for the service were very healthy.

Proof that the steps B4RN are making are the right ones if the Big G considers fibre to be the future, but we already knew that didn’t we?

Read about it here and also it’s worth watching their 3 minute video below. While it’s a fact that B4RN sadly does not have the resources that Google has, the objective is the same and as we are now seeing in increasing amounts, the passion from within the community to make this project a reality is just as strong as what the Kansas residents show here.

We have been receiving an increasing number of enquiries from areas adjacent to the phase 1 area as the news of the project spreads and communities realise what super fast broadband can do for them. Completing and making the core is a prime focus at the moment but we are keeping records of all enquiries for when the future phases start.

Stories from out in the field from our very happy customers

One residential customer in Over Kellet used to know whether it was worth firing up her computer by looking out of her front window to see what the weather was doing with her telephone line.

OMG it is amazing! I don’t want to go back to London, which was faster than here, but not now! Just to say a BIG THANK YOU to all you guys, what a great thing you are doing. I’m shocked not everyone is signing up!

After lambing 1300 ewes a good film is what I want to watch and because we have B4RN that is no problem. Just enables me and my family to get on.
