The dig 2 a gig launch press release issued today, March 14th.

Great news! Fundraising has been going very well and our project has reached the stage where digging can begin. The first piece of ground will be dug during a Grand Opening Ceremony by local farmers John and Andrew Metcalfe across their land. This is a key milestone for the project and proof that the community is behind what will be a world class broadband network.   “This will make a major difference to our community, and to me and my young family.  As they grow they will be able to use the technology that children elsewhere take for granted, and we will be able to diversify our business through it.”  says Andrew Metcalfe, see the map here

Stories from out in the field from our very happy customers

One residential customer in Over Kellet used to know whether it was worth firing up her computer by looking out of her front window to see what the weather was doing with her telephone line.
